I came across this lovely Inn by accident on booking.com, and I’m so glad I did. It was my first time in the Lakes and the best week. The room was great, the food stunning, and the staff warm and friendly. If anything, it’s too cheap. Remember my name if prices go up, I’ll need my discount when I return 😉. We stayed three nights while attending a wedding nearby. The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We just wished the bar stayed open until 11pm as standard instead of closing at 10pm.

The lamb Sunday lunch was tender and there was plenty of it. I had the scampi and haddock mix, which was delicious too. The gentleman serving us was lovely and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We brought our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter, and all had a wonderful meal. We’ve found a gem in bardsey and will definitely be back.
