Premier Inn Uttoxeter

The new rooms and restaurant really impressed me, and the price for a night was an absolute bargain. The staff were lovely, from reception through to the chef and waitress. The food was great, cooked where you could see it from most tables. It was a quiet weekend, and my bed was super comfortable. The facilities and decor were excellent. Fantastic.

We came for a few days and have just got home. The rooms, location, food and staff were all perfect. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're visiting family.

One of the best Premier Inn's I've stayed at. The room was modern and the staff were great, especially the receptionist, who was particularly pleasant. Callum and Becky run the restaurant and were really attentive, with fantastic service. The burger was top drawer!

We stopped for one night to split up a long drive. The room was really nice for a Premier Inn and looked recently redone. At check-in, the staff member was friendly and made sure our room number was written down instead of saying it aloud, which I appreciated. We skipped booking breakfast because we weren't sure we'd eat before leaving, but when we asked about a table in the morning, we waited ten minutes with empty tables and no staff in sight. The woman who eventually came over seemed confused and in no rush. She asked whether we'd booked and paid, and after we said no to both, went to take cutlery to a table. That took another five minutes. We were then told we could sit down, but waited another five minutes for the cutlery she'd said she'd bring straight over. We'd already got our drinks and food and sat down by then. The food was fine, and the chef was super friendly and chatty. At 9:30 there was hardly any continental breakfast left, and we heard people ask for basics like bread only to be told it had run out. Two trays of dirty glasses were sitting around with no clean ones, and there were only a couple of mugs for hot drinks. I'd stay at the hotel again, but skip the restaurant, especially if it's busy. It was quiet while we were there, so I can only imagine how slow service gets when it's full!
