Just off the main road from Wadebridge towards Padstow, this guest house is a little gem. The rooms are reasonably priced, modern and very comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The owners are friendly and on hand to help or offer advice. Breakfast is excellent, with homemade jam and marmalade and tomatoes and other produce from the garden. There’s also an excellent pub a short walk away that serves high quality hot food.

I stayed for three nights while visiting friends. The rooms were roomy and well equipped, and breakfast was delicious. It’s centrally placed for lots of local attractions, and Padstow is a 20 minute bus ride away. If you’re taking a taxi, book well ahead.

Elba really goes out of their way to meet your needs. The place is lovely, clean, and absolutely deserves five stars. I’d happily book again when I’m back in the area.

It was tiny, but had what we needed, and it was inexpensive. I did bump my head on the dormer ceiling. Try the Quarryman, it’s walkable for dinner.
