The food was a great start to a lovely birthday weekend. My husband said the Halloumi burger was the best he’d ever had, while my steak was cooked perfectly and came with amazing Peppercorn sauce. We had a lovely, comfortable room and a great breakfast. Everyone on staff was so welcoming. Thanks to all for a fantastic stay. We’ll definitely return.

The evening meal was great, with nice staff and fair prices. Our stay was really enjoyable, and the place has loads of character. I can’t remember the last time I stayed above a pub. It’s nice to see a traditional pub making so much effort, and this one is worth supporting.

The owner made us feel at home straight away, and the service was super fast. It’s a wonderful little pub with a lovely atmosphere and a really tasty veggie burger. The coleslaw was epic too. Thank you.

I had a delicious pie, the proper kind, and the pub welcomes dogs in all areas. It’s a lovely old-world place with a great atmosphere and fantastically welcoming staff. I went for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Highly recommended. I hope I can get back before I go home. 10/10.

We’ve just spent two nights at the Walkampton Inn Walkampton. The room was lovely and large, warm and clean, with tea and coffee. The full English breakfast was very tasty, and the staff and owner were so helpful. I’m looking forward to coming back later in the year to try the evening meals.
