Mather House Retreat

We were only here one night for a wedding and barely used the room, but Jakkie communicated really well and was very flexible with our awkward schedule. She even helped us with a heating problem at 5:30am. I'd recommend staying and would come back if we're in the area.

The cooked breakfast was very good, with a nice range of cereals as well, and there was plenty of parking on site. I stayed four nights and was very happy with the accommodation. The room was clean and nicely presented, with good heating and plenty of hot water. The walk-in shower has good disabled access. French doors opened onto a large garden, and there were plenty of toiletries, plus a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and a microwave to use.

Our grandson loved running around the great garden and hiding under the willow Tree. The room was good and clean, and breakfast was good too. We enjoyed our short stay, and there was plenty of parking. The only small criticism is that there wasn't any fruit with breakfast, but it wasn't a problem.

The garden was lovely, and there are little touches that show someone has thought everything through. I stayed while working locally and found it a really pleasant place. Check-in was a bit confusing when I couldn't find anyone, but I popped into Tri Beauty at the back of the building and it was all sorted. The bed was comfy, there was a bath, and the hand towel ring and bins in both the room and bathroom were useful. Plenty of sockets, including one by the bed for my phone charger, and the lighting could be adjusted from bed. Breakfast was good and served efficiently.
