Handley Farm

The Dairy at Handley Farm made a terrific base for exploring Exmoor and the Quantocks, in a beautiful rural setting on the Somerset/ Devon border. We spent a lovely BH weekend there with my partner, friends and their dog. Nicky and Richard were kind, friendly hosts and made us feel at home in their working farm cottage, which had excellent facilities. We enjoyed the hot tub in the garden and got good use out of the log burner. Many thanks, we hope to visit again.

After the bustle of London, we had a lovely week at Handley Farm. My family enjoyed countryside walks, meals at the town pubs and daytime activities with the animals. Nicky and Richard were wonderful hosts. It was the best week of our England vacation, and we hope to come back.

We’ve celebrated birthdays and cooked family dinners for relatives who live nearby during our stays at Handley Farm. The accommodation is spacious, spotless and well equipped, with comfortable beds, a warm feel and hot tubs that are always a treat. There are horses, lambs, goats, chickens and cows to see, along with fishing lakes, pretty walks and a tidy garden. The coast is easy to reach, there’s plenty to do nearby and good places to eat. It feels away from it all without being too remote. This was our fourth perfect stay, and we’re already looking forward to booking a fifth. Nicky, Richard and Grace are caring hosts, and their love for this special place shows in everything they do. We’re so glad we found it and would recommend it to anyone.

Every visit to Handley Farm starts with such a warm welcome from Nicky, Richard and grace. They’re wonderful hosts, and nothing feels like too much trouble. The cider barn is spotless, has sensational views and feels like home with a touch of luxury. For a few relaxing days away, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s great value, luxurious, and the hosts are amazing. I’ve stayed many times and will obviously be back! 😉😊
