Leonardo Hotel London Watford

The breakfast had plenty of choice, and everything was fresh and nicely presented. The hotel was clean throughout, and its location made it easy to get around. Thiru and Mathew were especially welcoming and friendly, and the man with piercings behind the bar was brilliant and added to the atmosphere. Sorry I can’t remember his name. I’d suggest a little more smiling and light conversation from the reception team. A warm welcome matters when guests arrive excited about their stay. Still, we had a very nice time at Leonardo Hotel London Watford and would happily return. Thanks to the team.

After 48 hours from hell, our birthday holiday was cancelled and we had nowhere to go at 4am. We called to book a room and explained what had happened. The staff were amazing and so helpful, and when we arrived they made me feel really special. If a manager reads this, the staff on duty between 4 and 6am on the 5th of January saved my birthday. Thank you so much!

I was on a business trip, so I’m not sure about the price, but this felt like a decent midrange hotel. I’d stay again if the price is around that level, though I don’t think it should cost more. The location is close to a shopping center and a large streetfood court. The hotel has a nice bar lounge, but no fitness area, pool or other amenities. The restaurant served a nice midrange meal, though it was a bit too tasteless for me. Service was fine. The room was basically clean, but makeup marks were left on the walls near the sink area. My office chair was broken, but they swapped it quickly when I mentioned it. The bed and pillows were fine, clean and large enough. The aircon smelled a bit stale, not sure why. Breakfast was well laid out, but staff missed details like putting out forks and spoons for serving.

The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the staff are helpful and welcoming. There’s always a warm, friendly greeting here, and it works well for casual catch-ups as well as business meetings.
