We've stayed here several times, for work and leisure trips to London, and it's become our usual place. The location works well, with shops and other amenities nearby and good connections into central London. Parking is plentiful and costs a reasonable daily rate. The rooms are always clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly. It's a basic, no-frills Premier Inn, which is exactly what we expect and want. We'll keep coming back.

The staff made our New Year's Eve stay feel special. Everyone was professional, friendly and ready to help, and the manager has clearly put together a great team. We got back around 3am and even the cleaner working in the lobby wished us a happy new year. The hotel was much cheaper than other places and is right in central Watford, with plenty of parking. We slept well, then arrived late for breakfast, but the staff were accommodating. The breakfast suited us well since we prefer something light and healthy. We'd definitely stay again, and I'm grateful to everyone who helped us.

Michael really made this stay special. He seemed to be handling several jobs at once, yet was incredibly friendly and helpful. He made my stepdaughter feel at ease with goody bags and extra brownies, and made sure my partner and I had everything we needed. I can't thank him enough. We felt welcome from the start. The hotel was easy to find, reception staff were helpful, and our room was clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. The water was very hot, and there was complimentary tea and coffee, though a better option than Nescafé Original would've been nice. No real complaint since it was free. We stayed three nights and ate at the hotel for convenience. The first evening, my partner's fish was burnt and my stepdaughter's spaghetti was bland, with big pieces of vegetables that weren't kid friendly. Kids eat free, and they kindly removed the fish from the bill. My mixed grill was okay. The food was great on the next two nights, prices were reasonable and service was fantastic. The area felt very safe, with a Tesco Extra close by. Watford Junction was about a five minute taxi ride away.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, so I slept really well. The hotel was clean and well kept, and despite being close to shops and transport, it was nice and quiet. Staff were welcoming from check-in through checkout. Shout out to zeze and sujan, always happy to answer questions. I had a really pleasant stay at the Premier Inn Watford Central, thought it was good value, and would happily return. I'd recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, reliable place in Watford.

The bar shut before its advertised closing time, and there was no courteous explanation or apology. Omar's abrupt, confrontational manner made the situation worse and left us feeling unwelcome. Guests should be able to count on the hours a venue advertises, and the way this was handled felt unprofessional. Earlier that evening, Lexi had been friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. She even warned us that the night shift could be difficult, which unfortunately proved true. The contrast was striking. Lexi made us feel valued, while Omar's attitude spoiled the atmosphere and what should have been a relaxing stay at Premier Inn Watford Central. I rarely post a negative review, but this left a bad impression. Management should look into how guests are treated on the night shift and make sure staff communicate professionally and show basic manners.
