It's a lovely place that looks newly done, with the train station, shops, bars and a chip shop nearby. I loved hearing the trains go past.

Ten minutes after we arrived in Watford and had settled in, they rudely made us leave because of a deposit problem on their end of the system. I offered to pay the deposit in cash to sort it out, but they refused and told me there were plenty of other hotels nearby and to leave straight away. Since it was evening and so last minute, I had nowhere to stay that night. The place was filthy inside, with dead bugs under the pillows and an unflushed toilet. The walls were paper thin, and there was loud music at the neighbours' houses. There was also blood on the floor outside the front door from a recent stabbing. Worst stay I've had anywhere. Avoid at all costs!
