Gwen and Lee gave us high-quality service, and the breakfast was delicious. The property was immaculate and our room felt luxurious. It's a superb base for exploring Whitby. If we come back, we'll stay here for longer.

The bathroom was cleaner than any guesthouse bathroom I've seen, and the room was absolutely spotless. We had a lovely stay, though we would have liked a small fridge in the room.

Each room has parking right in front of the house, which made things simple given the zone parking areas in Whitby. Gwen and Lee were perfect hosts, and our room was beautiful and clean with everything we needed thought through. Breakfast was wonderful, a 10 out of 10. Thanks to you both. We're looking forward to staying again in a couple of months.

A two-minute walk takes you to the sea front, and we had a perfect four-night stay. Gwen and Lee are wonderful hosts. Our large ground-floor room had loads of space to relax, with two chairs, a closet, mini-fridge, tea service, cookies, a vanity and stool, a make-up mirror, and both a super king and twin bed. Everything was spotless, and the beds, sheets and towels were great quality. The shower pressure was the best we've ever experienced, in either our UK home or our US house. The Full English Breakfast was generous, top quality, and served quickly and hot. We'll definitely return. Thanks so much, Gwen and Lee.

The owners were very friendly, and breakfast came straight away. Our room was spotless and very large, with a big comfortable bed and a table and chairs by the window. Having a fridge and parking space was a definite bonus. The water in the fridge was handy for filling the kettle.
