After a bad experience at another place, I think I chose the perfect stay here. Rachel was a lovely, welcoming host, and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was well cooked, with lots to choose from. It felt like home, and the location is great, close to the main st. I'd certainly recommend it. Thank you, racheal and Andrew x

We stayed three nights in the quiet, spacious attic family room. Everything was nice and clean, the cooked breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Rachel and Andrew are brilliant. Great location too. We'd like to come back.

The self-catering apartment downstairs is really good, with two lovely double bedrooms and a great living, dining and lounge area. It's only two minutes from the front, with easy access to buses and the old town. We were a big group, and while the rooms differ quite a lot, one of my brothers got a very small room with just a double bed. I believe they're gradually upgrading the rooms. The breakfasts are second to none, though you have to order the night before. I'd go back anytime and highly recommend it.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and even stayed for a chat. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and stocked with refreshments. Breakfast was delicious, with fruit or cereal and a cooked option, meat or vegetarian. They were happy to cater for vegetarians. There's also a fridge for medicines and things, plus leaflets to put in your vehicle to help with on-street parking. The place is right in central Whitby, perfect for te Goth Weekend. A friend recommended it and we weren't disappointed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we've rebooked for next Spring's Whitby Goth Weekend. Definitely recommend it.
