Norman Guest House

We left feeling like part of the family and made some fantastic friends. Deborah made us feel so welcome, and the service was amazing. The continental breakfast was included, too. It was my first time in whitby, but it won't be my last. We've just had a lovely weekend here. See you soon Debs xx

Deborah looked after us from beginning to end during a lovely weekend at the Norman Guest House. The room was lovely and very clean, and the location was great, with such a view from the room. Thank you, Paul and Debbie.

The breakfast was continental, with a wide range of high-quality items, and the place is spotless and decorated to a high standard. Our room has lovely decor, plenty of storage, a TV, and tea and coffee facilities. Complimentary biscuits were refreshed each day, and the shower with its two heads was brilliant. Debbie met us at the door, helped with our luggage and gave us a parking permit for a car park just a short walk away. She knows Whitby inside out. We're here for a week and can't fault anything; nothing has been too much trouble. Thank you, Debbie and your lovely staff, for making our week extra special, especially the 31st May !

We were in room 2, the railway room, with a chaise lounge and big windows overlooking a nice, quiet street. The host knows lots of the area's history and information, and was happy to share it. There were lovely extras in the room, including quality biscuits, water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, all replenished daily, plus nice toiletries. Breakfast was a lovely continental spread with plenty of choice and a variety of fresh breads.
