The hosts were friendly and attentive, always ready with local information and recommendations. We felt welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was peaceful and convenient, and the room was spotless, cozy and well maintained, with everything we needed to relax. Breakfast was freshly made with a great range of options. I appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail, and would happily return. Thank you Richard and Joanne, you do a sterling job! I'd highly recommend this B&B for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

The Abbey view was lovely, and the location worked perfectly for us. We had a comfortable few days here: the place was clean and warm, everyone was helpful and friendly, and tea, coffee and milk were always topped up. Parking was easy too. We’d be happy to come back.

Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, so there was something for whatever you fancied. Our room was spacious, spotless and well equipped, and the bed was so comfortable we struggled to get up. Richard and Joanne were wonderful hosts, always ready to help.

We’ve stayed in plenty of Whitby guest houses over the years, but the welcome from Rich and Joanne here was especially warm. The rooms were lovely and clean, and their breakfasts were the best. We’ve just got back from two really nice days and will choose this guest house next time we visit.

Room one looked out over the sea, pier and Abbey, and the breakfast was the tastiest and freshest we’ve had anywhere in Whitby. Joanne and Richard were friendly and easy to talk to. We’d gladly return.
