The Belfry is well placed on the West Cliff, close enough to walk into town and to the attractions. Our stay was wonderful, with a clean, comfortable room and tasteful decor. It also had some thoughtful extras: tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. Breakfast was excellent, with cereals, fruit, a full English and daily specials, all freshly made. We were given a parking permit on arrival, which made parking very convenient. We'd gladly return and certainly recommend the Belfry.

Breakfast was plentiful and really tasty, with a full English, cereals, fruit and yoghurts. On the days we stayed, the specials included pancakes and scrambled egg and salmon. The breakfast service was friendly and efficient, too. Our room at The Belfry was spotless and comfortable, with a good-sized walk-in shower and nice toiletries. We parked nearby for free using the permit. We'll definitely return, or perhaps book one of their apartments for a longer stay. This is our new go-to when we're in whitby.

Our room was spacious and spotless, with a lovely view of the sea. The Belfry made a perfect base for our two nights exploring town, and the main attractions were an easy walk away. Free on-street parking was an added bonus. We'd love to come back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The room was beautiful and spacious, with large windows, luxury bedding and meticulous cleanliness. The building is an old one, carefully refurbished and full of character, in a good spot with free parking on the neighbouring streets. Helpful, friendly staff served a lovely breakfast with a good selection. I'd highly recommend The Belfry.

The hosts were thoughtful and the location was convenient. My room was clean, comfortable and attractively decorated, and there was a good selection of hot drinks in the room. Breakfast was wonderful. I'd definitely recommend it.
