The food was generous and home cooked, and the staff were lovely. They even got a sausage for our dog. Highly recommend.

We first stopped in for food yesterday and had a great meal. The staff were really friendly, the food was excellent and reasonably priced, and they had decent beer too. The hotel and bar were clean and tidy. Can't fault the place, it'll be our lunch spot next time we're in Whitby.

We had the lasagna and mixed grill on our first lunch visit on 15th April. The homemade lasagna was cheesy, full of flavour and a good portion, and both dishes were top quality and great value. The kids menu was good quality too and fairly priced. We'd definitely try it again if we visit Whitby.

We were in Whitby a couple of weeks ago and liked our meal at the Granby so much that we came back the next night. I had one of the best homemade steak pies I've ever eaten in a pub.
