There was a lovely garden, a games room and a garage, and the cottage had plenty of space and comfortable, clean furnishings. I really appreciated all the little details and trinkets, too. It’s rural, but the shops are only a two-minute drive away, and the hosts were fab. I stayed five of my six nights and loved the place. The internet went down after a tree fell on the line, which wasn’t the owners’ fault. The 4G modem they provided couldn’t get a steady signal, and there’s rarely phone reception at the cottage. I couldn’t meet the lovely caretaker, gardener or owner face to face. BT Telecommunications, shame on you for leaving customers at Station Approach with a broken phone and data cable, pinned to a tree, for more than ten days.
