The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a nice stay overall. We were on the first floor, in a room facing the car park. With the window open, we could hear other guests drinking outside the restaurant. Parking cost £7.50 for 24 hours, whereas it was free on our last stay. We skipped dinner at the restaurant and ordered a Dominoes Pizza instead. The bed was okay, but I have back problems and the mattress felt a bit too firm. It's reasonably priced, and I'd go back.

Getting in and out was quick and stress-free, and the staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. The location worked well for transport, and the hotel felt safe, quiet, and well looked after. My room was spotless, modern, and comfortable, especially the bed, which really did live up to the “Premier Inn bed” reputation. Good value for money and a reliable stay. I'd definitely return and recommend it for a comfortable, hassle-free visit.

The only real plus was the location, 10 minutes from the client I was visiting. The rooms were filthy, with stained, smelly carpets, and the bathroom soap dispensers didn't work. Reception was unstaffed, and when the screen check-in failed and I had to ask for a key, I was treated like a criminal. Staff were miserable, and in the morning they glared at guests as if we shouldn't be there. The coffee was the worst I've ever had. Guests pay £12 to park, while visitors get a lower rate. How does that make sense? This place is less than a budget hotel. They say it's no frills, and they're right. It felt like a detention centre. After this experience, I'd never use Premier Inn again. Awful.

I've usually been happy with Premier, especially the beds, which are some of the comfiest around. This time our room had no windows that opened, and the air-conditioning was so noisy we barely slept. Not a relaxing stay. Rooms now have very basic amenities compared with previous visits, while prices have gone up significantly since we were last here. I suppose we all have to sacrifice something to the great god profit.

The staff were fantastic and always ready to help, and there were good food options and a good breakfast. The rooms were good too. It's a shame they don't have any Premier Plus rooms.
