The decking was a lovely place to sit and take in the views, and we had a nice time at glades farm. The pods are cute, if a little small, and fine for a night. But the bedding felt cheap, all polyester, and made it hard to sleep well on a hot evening. The double bed also felt tiny for two adults. In the morning, I found a dead earwing stuck in the kettle spout when I went to pour the water, which made me feel sick. Cotton bedding would make it more comfortable and feel more luxurious. I gave service a 2 because we didn't meet anyone working there during our stay, then got chased for payment for firewood and threatened with being called a thief if we didn't pay. That wasn't necessary.

We had a peaceful two-night break in the Pod and found it comfortable, with the features we needed. The en-suite was small but clean. The kitchen and dining area had a reasonable amount of equipment for simple self-catering, and there's a BBQ on the terrace lawn. It was overcast, so we couldn't look at the stars through the skylight. Still, the stay felt restful and relaxing.

I wasn't sure what to expect before we arrived, so the little touches in our Chicken Hut were a lovely surprise, including a warm towel and a small glass of milk. The host greeted us and explained the amenities. We had a two-night break at Slades Glamping Farm, and it was just what my soul needed. The hut has amazing views and what seemed like the best plot on site. I'll definitely return, and I'd recommend this beautiful place to anyone needing a break from busy life. Thank you to the host.

The Shepards Hut was clean and nicely decorated, with a modern, cosy feel and a lovely horizon view. It was so relaxing to sit outside by the fire pit, listening to and watching the farm animals. The horses came over to greet us, too. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. They've planted trees and plants, and I can imagine the place looking even better once those have grown. We'll definitely come back, and wish them all the best.

The only small snag was arranging a taxi for a family party. Drivers seemed unwilling to come without an extra charge, but we managed to sort something out in the end. Apart from that, it's a fantastic place and I'd recommend it to anyone. The house felt like a home away from home, with no expense spared, and the hosts were welcoming from the start and couldn't do enough for us.
