Linden Lodge Guest House - B&B

The location worked well for us, with the beach a short walk away and the pier about 15 minutes on foot. We stayed six nights in July with my parents, and would definitely come back if we're in the area. Breakfast was a real highlight. Phil cooked each morning at a time that suited us, while Wendy and the girls kept the dining room going and made sure we had plenty to eat and lots of tea. Wendy and Phil were chatty when we ran into them and helpful with local tips. There's also a landing area with glasses and a fridge guests can use, plus a small honesty shop whose profits go to charity. The rooms were spotless, the beds very comfortable, and there were thoughtful extras everywhere, from biscuits in the room to sewing kits. We heard more improvements to the accommodation are planned, which should make stays even better.

The owner was so friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home. My wife and I had a brilliant stay, with a spotless room, a super-comfy bed and a great breakfast. Free parking was a bonus. Five stars from us, and we'll book again next year.

Wendy and Phil were lovely and so accommodating at Linden Lodge. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Their Covid arrangements worked really well, including breakfast in bed and being able to text Wendy if anything came up. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd highly recommend it.

Matt made our check-ups feel relaxed and reassuring while showing real professionalism. Sammy and the whole team have given my family and me confidence that we're in good hands. Everyone was smiling and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the customer care was hard to fault from start to finish. A warm, professional dental practice and a credit to our lovely little town. Keep it up!
