The Coach House

The decor had a traditional look, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Some have sea views, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was freshly cooked, served quickly, and the host was friendly and helpful. It's a great spot, about a ten-minute walk from the sea, town centre, and pubs. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

Curtis really goes above and beyond. The rooms at kingwood guest house were spotless, spacious, and amazing, and we slept so well in the comfy beds. I loved reading about the building's history and background, and breakfast was delicious. Curtis made us feel very welcome. The breakfast alone, especially the bacon, makes this place worth booking. The host was kind and helpful, and our comfortable room was cleaned every day. The main harbour and stone pier are a short walk downhill, which made for a great weekend stay.

I slept really well in a spacious room with a very comfortable bed and an amazing sea view. The Kingswood has the personal service, efficient communication, and cooked-to-order breakfast that made my stay easy. The building has history and old-school decor, and the price is reasonable. It's just outside the main beach area, so you avoid the early-hours parties, and there's free parking on site. If you need uniform decor or the latest high-end power shower in a tiny bathroom, it might not suit you. There are other rooms available, though. I can only speak for mine. Check their website!
