Weymouth Bay Apartment B

A wonderful place to visit, absolutely brilliant.

The views across Weymouth Bay are superb and uninterrupted, and the family accommodation is great value. Getting to the promenade takes a slightly roundabout route, but it’s still only a couple of hundred metres away. The pebble beach shows sand at low tide, and bathing is safe because the water stays shallow a long way out. You’ll need to manage stairs to reach the top apartment: there are two flights, including one outside.

The apartment is in a great central spot for family entertainment, with sea views. Sea Life, the go-karts and other attractions at Lodmoor are close by, as are the beach and a pub for evening meals. You can walk into town, or catch the little land train from beside the apartment. Be ready for steep steps up to the apartment. We also found there were only five breakfast bowls for a place sleeping seven adults and a baby, so we had to eat in two sittings. Both the double bed mattress and the cot mattress were far too soft and uncomfortable, pretty useless really. Apart from those things, it was great.
