Weymouth Sands

Nicola was lovely and kept me updated by email before we arrived. We’d just had a really nice week at the sands, where the B&B was clean and the bed was comfy. Coffee, sugar and milk were replenished every day, and a hairdryer was available if needed. It’s close to the beach, harbour and shops. A lovely place to stay.

Nichols is brilliant. We had one double room and two singles, all clean and just as expected. The beach begins right across the road at the dog beach end, so it could be busy and noisy at times. We had a great time and would highly recommend this B&B. We stayed two nights and will definitely stay longer next time.

The location is probably one of the best in Weymouth, with the harbour on one side and the beach just across the road. Before I arrived, Nicola texted to say my room was ready before the usual check-in time and explained how to get the key from the key box. I stayed in Room 3. It’s compact, with a bed, sink, TV and complimentary tray, but extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The window looks right across the beach and Weymouth seafront. The shared bathroom was spotless and easy to use. There was complimentary cold water and milk in the hallway fridge too. It was very quiet and I slept great. I didn’t have breakfast, but the breakfast room looked really nice and I’m sure it would have been delicious. I didn’t meet Nicola until I was leaving, but she was really friendly. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Weymouth.

We had a lovely breakfast, with the best bacon we’ve had in a long time. Our room had a sea view, and it was lovely to sit watching the world go by in the late evening and early morning. Nicola is a wonderful host, very helpful and keen to share advice about the local area and what’s going on, especially the parking situation. I’d certainly recommend staying here.
