Host Stay Morse Cottage

Morse Cottage was quiet but right in Whitby centre, and having two parking spaces was a real bonus. Inside, it was very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need and quality throughout, right down to the teaspoons. Vitty's cottages were great to deal with from the first booking message, with friendly, excellent communication all the way through. We’ll definitely book with them again soon and highly recommend them.

We’d never been to Whitby before, and Morse Cottage turned out to be just a couple of minutes’ walk from the swing bridge. It’s central but wonderfully peaceful, and the two good-sized parking spaces were really useful. The cottage was beautifully furnished, cosy and luxurious, with lovely decor and a great balance of comfort and elegance. Everything was provided, from the welcome box with milk, tea, coffee and treats to washing-up gloves and dishwasher tablets. It was the cleanest place I’ve stayed in, and I’ve rented plenty. It was also very Covid friendly, cleaned, fogged and aired between guests. There was lots of storage, plus three comfortable bedrooms and three bathrooms with great showers, so nobody had to queue. Iain and Heather were lovely and friendly, and just a phone call away. We booked a couple of nights at short notice with Vitty's Cottages. I almost didn’t want to write a review because it’s tempting to keep a place this good secret, but credit where it’s due. We’d happily stay at one of Vitty's Cottages again. Thank you for having us!

The cottage was tastefully decorated and really comfortable. It’s in a beautiful central spot by Whitby train station, with two parking spaces right outside.

The accommodation was excellent, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
