We found a room available for one night at a bargain price after deciding at the last minute to extend our Whitby stay. Our previous B&B was full, and this one included breakfast and free parking. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We could park off the road right outside the door, then move the car from the promenade pay-and-display parking we’d used earlier. The room was great, with a very comfortable bed, though it was up two flights of stairs. We had a drink in the bar after going out, but didn’t fancy the bar stools and took our wine back to the room. Breakfast was generous and great. We’d recommend it and stay again.

We stayed two nights and the staff were all great, nothing was too much trouble. The location is on the clifftop path down to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Thursday to Monday for Goth Weekend. The room was clean and the bed comfy, breakfast delicious, and drinks in the hotel bar fairly priced. There isn’t much parking, but we managed to park for free on the promenade with a scratchcard ticket. Excellent location and I’d return.

The room was spotless and cosy, the bathroom immaculate, and breakfast was amazing. The staff were really friendly too. I stayed a night to visit friends and would certainly recommend this hotel.

We walked along the coast and up to the abbey, which was a treat, and the town restaurants are within walking distance too. The location is great, the rooms have lovely views, and the staff were welcoming and all smiles.
