We were travelling from France up to Scotland and spent one night here. The location was great, and our host made us a delicious breakfast before we set off. Lovely room too. Thanks, we'd happily stay again.

The views around Handley Barn are breathtaking, and the rooms are beautiful. Our hosts were lovely, and it was a great base for the Foot Health 2024 conference at Silverstone in June. We also had a meal at The New Inn in Abthorpe, which is nearby and well worth recommending. I'll be back next year. Such a wonderful stay.

After a hectic weekend of racing at Silverstone, it was nice to be back in the countryside after just a short drive. The room was clean and nicely presented, with a kettle, microwave and utensils, and there’s a well-equipped shared kitchen next door. Really enjoyable stay. This will be my first choice for future track visits 👍🏼

Sam made us feel welcome straight away. The rooms are huge, the beds are really comfortable, and the linen was exquisite. There’s a mini fridge, toaster and microwave, plus plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. It’s only a seven-minute drive from Silverstone, so we’ll definitely be back when we visit the track again. What a great find.

I booked this for a car show at Silverstone, and the drive in past grazing sheep was lovely. It’s tucked away and has only a limited number of rooms. I stayed with my daughter; our room was immaculate, with a little kitchen area stocked with refreshments, biscuits and even a pint of milk. The shower room was incredible, and the owner was lovely and welcoming. We'd be happy to stay again.
