Kingsmede Bed & Breakfast

Chris made us feel so welcome, chatting with us and making sure he couldn't do enough for us. He also cooked a great breakfast each morning. Kingsmede is lovely, in Whitwell near great local pubs and just a short drive from the seaside spots. Thanks for such a lovely stay. We'll definitely come back on our next Isle of Wight trip. 🙂

We'd strongly recommend staying at Kingsmede. We were there last week and had a lovely time. The room was spacious and so peaceful, and Chris was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was booked perfectly and kept us full for our adventures around the Island. Many thanks, Gisu & Shaun.

The bed was hard, and the seats felt a bit too low for us seniors, so the bedroom could be more comfortable. Still, we really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, our chats with the exceptional host in the morning were lovely, and breakfast was excellent. Thank you Chris.

Chris's breakfast is to die for, and the food is locally sourced from the island. The dog, Toblerobe, is a pleasure to meet whenever you come in. Kingsmede is a beautiful home, and its owners are very helpful. The rooms are comfortable for a weary traveller, with fresh milk and water in the fridge and freshly cut flowers. They also add thoughtful little touches you don't get at larger bed and breakfasts.
