Shannon was cheerful, lovely and really helpful, and the homecooked food was delicious, with generous portions for a great price. Donna, the landlady, even came out of the kitchen to check we were all right. They allow campervans to park overnight if you eat there, which is a bonus. It gets busy, so booking is best, and the hotel doesn't open until 5pm. A must if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back 😊

The food was fine, and they can accommodate all sorts of travel, whether by boat, car or plane. The staff were lovely, too. But it was old and damp, with a fowl smell, and the pool table was on a 90 degree slope. An interesting experience.

A handy stop when cycling north towards JoG. We broke up our long ride with lunch and coffee here. The staff were really helpful, and both the food and coffee were great. The place is generally cycle-friendly and nicely located.

My husband and I had a lovely stay. We were well fed, with dinner, dessert and breakfast, and all three were delicious. The lady and her staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend staying there. Xxx
