A great traditional pub, with a pool table, music, TV sport and a dartboard. There’s plenty of parking, but remember to register for free on the screens by the bars. Staff are happy to help, and there’s a good range of non-alcoholic drinks too.

There are darts, pool and more at this great pub. The bar has a good choice of alcoholic and soft drinks, plus snacks either at the bar or from a vending machine.

I was issued a County Court judgement by the parking eye 'people' because apparently you have to pay to use the car park. Not one staff member told me. I wrongly assumed that spending money in the pub meant I wouldn’t be charged, since I don’t expect to pay for parking somewhere I’m visiting. The staff couldn’t help and only said, 'we have signs all over the car park and pub, sorry, I can't help you'. I’ll never go back, and I’ll actively tell anyone who’ll listen about this racket. Disgusting behaviour.

On my travels through the UK, I stopped at this lively, traditional English pub. The separate chalet-style accommodation was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

We’ve always had a warm, friendly welcome at The Plough. The rooms are clean and fresh, very nice for an overnight stay, and reasonably priced. Looking forward to coming back soon.
