Great food and lovely staff at this fantastic little pub. I'll definitely pop in again next time I'm in the area.

We often bring our toddler to The Aikton Arms, and it's such a relaxed, family friendly place. She loves coming along, especially when there's sausage and beans. The staff always make us feel welcome and comfortable, and nothing seems like too much trouble. The food is fantastic, with generous portions and new things to try on the specials board. The brie and garlic mushrooms are our favourites and never disappoint. Service is consistently excellent, and we always look forward to another visit. Great food, atmosphere and staff. We'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a local pub. ❤️🍽️🍻👶🏻

Six of us shared a mix of starters, mains and desserts, with drinks, and everything was delicious. There's a good choice on the main menu, plus extra options on the specials board. The portions were generous but not too much. The log burner made the place lovely and cosy on a cold night. Another lovely meal, thank you! ♥️

A roaring log burner gives this lovely village pub a cosy feel. They now have Hawkstone beer and cider on draught, as well as Hawkstone (HWKSTN) gin and vodka. Dogs are welcome too.

The dirty burger was juicy and succulent, one of the best I've had in a while. I started with the halloumi loaded fries, and both were absolutely delicious. 10/10, would recommend.
