The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. But the host was surprisingly finicky and seemed rather racist, saying she didn't trust us because we had foreign wives. It left us concerned about how future tenants might be treated, though we hope it was a one-off. We clearly won't be returning to this property because of her.

Spacious, clean and well equipped, with free parking and a great price. Irene was attentive and a great host. The location is superb for Windermere Town, with bars, restaurants and everything else close by. We thought the place was ideal and will definitely come back.

It takes around 20-30 minutes to walk to the lake, in case you're wondering. The apartment itself is a beautiful little place with two bedrooms and toilets, a cosy living room, modern kitchen and Smart TV for Netflix and the like. There's a Co-op just up the road, with lots of restaurants and pubs beyond it. WiFi was a bit slow at times, but it wasn't a big issue. Definitely a good place to stay when visiting Windermere.

I stayed with my family for two nights and three days. The property was very nice, and Irene was a wonderful, welcoming and cooperative host. She also suggested some good restaurants. It was a very pleasant stay, and we'd visit again.

We were happy to recommend the apartment. It was clean and comfortable, and our hosts were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with an easy walk into town and plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from.
