We had four great nights here in early autumn 2025, and there was very little noise. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the shops and lake. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, with the handy bonus of a fridge. Breakfast was a well-made cooked English, with options like porridge or boiled eggs. Parking was free and straightforward. It wasn’t the cheapest place, but I thought it was good value for the price. No negatives.

Our room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was high standard, and the hosts were very friendly. Dene House was a first for us, though we’ve stayed in many B&Bs in Bowness. It’s about a five-minute flat walk from the center and has free onsite parking. No cons for us, a great stay in a lovely hotel. We’ll definitely return.

We had a lovely stay in this building, which is in a great location. Our en suite room was clean, the super king bed was very comfortable, and the hosts were pleasant. Breakfast was really nice too. We’d certainly recommend it.

The family could finally relax here. It was a cosy place and we slept really well. We were near the lake for hiking, and there are lots of restaurants for lunch.

Free parking, a brilliant breakfast and really friendly, polite staff made this a perfect two-night stay. The location was excellent and the room very clean. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it.
