Ian and the team made us feel so welcome, and we'd happily stay again if we're back in the area. The room was a good size, with an en suite, and the whole place was clean and tidy. Hollywood guesthouse was very accommodating, and we were pleasantly surprised to get a full traditional cooked breakfast included each morning. It's also just a short walk into town. Thanks again for having us!

Ian made us feel right at home at this lovely family run B&B. It's only about a five minute walk to the centre of Windermere, with plenty of parking right outside. Our room was clean and nice, and breakfast was excellent. I'm lactose intolerant, and Ian went out of his way to make sure I had a great choice of breakfast and hot drinks. I really appreciated it, it made all the difference. We'll definitely be back in the near future.

The little toy they gave us is still loved by our son, now two years old. My wife was seven months pregnant when we stayed at this great B&B while visiting the Lake District, and the hosts were especially accommodating. They even gave us a small gift for our unborn son. Thanks for a lovely stay, and sorry it's taken us so long to write this!

The owners are what made this B&B so great. Breakfast was fantastic, and they’re happy to suggest places to eat, hike or visit. I stayed in the top floor room, which had a really comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.

The family were really helpful and nice, and the location worked well for me, close to the train station and information office. Bowness Pier is about a 30 minute walk away. I had a single room, small but convenient, and the place was VERY clean. It was cleaned every day, and the toiletries were all natural, from an authentic Lake District brand. More than great. Breakfast was very good, though it can take a long time, so allow at least an hour if you have plans. Definitely recommended, convenient and good value for money.
