We had six at the table on 11 March 2026 and all enjoyed the freshly cooked food. There was French Soup, Pigs Cheecks, Beef & ALE pie and liver among our choices, and everyone was pleased with the quality. Crumble was the favourite dessert. Service was very good too, and the young lady certainly deserved her gratuity. The Inn is easy to reach just off the A40, with plenty of parking. Inside, it’s tastefully decorated and has a friendly, welcoming feel. There’s a decent drinks selection, though it’s not a real ale mecca. I can’t comment on the rooms. I’d happily visit again and recommend it.

The food was good quality and fairly priced, and the staff were friendly. A few people had brought their dogs along, so I got to see and pet some while I was there. What more could you want 😁

It was busy for a Tuesday lunch, so they’re clearly doing something right, but the menu didn’t really grab us and the pub didn’t quite feel like our kind of place. The burger looked good, though, so we’d give it another try. Maybe it just needs to be a bit better for us.

We found this place on another pub’s recommendation after they were fully booked. The kitchen was closing, or had just shut, when we arrived, but they still offered to make us a meal if we chose quickly. That was really kind of them, and what they cooked was very nice.

We stumbled on this restaurant on the way back to our apartment, and it ended up being a trip highlight. The food was the best we had during our stay in the Cotswolds. It’s a warm, cosy place, and the service was excellent. We’d gladly return and would recommend it.
