The room was nice, the bed comfortable and the location very central, but we'd had so little sleep from the two nearby nightclubs that we wouldn't stay again or recommend it. Even earplugs couldn't block the unbearable noise. I also left my phone charger behind by accident. When I called the hotel, they wanted £20 to post it back. I expected to cover postage and packaging, about £5, so that felt shocking, especially with the post office literally a 1min walk away. Very bad customer service. A few other things: there are no lifts, so you have to carry bags upstairs. You only get one room key, and there are no staff after 5:30pm, so be careful not to lock yourself out. There was soap in the shower but no shampoo.

The location was amazing, just a 2-minute walk to Windsor Castle and the train station, with pubs and restaurants close by. Our room was peaceful and tidy, and the air conditioning was necessary on our summer trip. Rates were quite reasonable compared with nearby hotels. There are stairs, so you'll need to carry your luggage up. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Check-in was easy and the whole stay was stress-free, with no fuss. There's no reception desk: you ring the doorbell camera and the duty housekeeper meets you inside to check you in. The housekeepers were really friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained, and our room was large, clean and nicely decorated, with good quality things and everything you'd wish for, including tea and coffee plus a separate coffee machine. The bed was comfy too. We stayed one night but should have stayed longer. It's right above the main shopping street, yet there was no noise, and the castle and main tourist areas were only a minute or two away. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in the area.

The hotel was amazing, but the busker outside with blonde hair was extremely loud and kept going well into the night. It made our stay really unpleasant. If you need a decent night's sleep while jet lagged, avoid.

Roswell House was comfortable, beautiful and well kept. The location made it easy to explore Windsor on foot, with Windsor Castle a short walk away and plenty of shops and great restaurants just around the corner. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.
