We were welcomed like old friends by Richard, who gave my husband and me separate keys since I had a hen do to attend. They offered us tea and cake on arrival, and we said no, which we regretted because the locally made jams were to die for. Breakfast was cosy, like being at home, with great service. My favourite part was the outdoor garden and renovated caravan where you can sleep. It was so calming we didn't want to leave. There's free parking on site, and the quirky house sits on a roundabout, almost making you feel invisible to the world. We keep recommending it to friends and family. It's just minutes from Windsor but away from the hustle and bustle. If traffic noise bothers you, earplugs are worth bringing, I promise.

Rich was so helpful after someone in our party hurt their ankle in Windsor. He actually came out to assist us, which we really appreciated. We stayed two nights at Manor Cottage and were delighted with it. Rich greeted us at the door, showed us to our rooms, then brought tea and delicious cake. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfy, and there was a small TV and a mini fridge stocked with water, milk and even cider. Wifi was free and quick. The property has loads of character and a lovely homely feel, with a beautiful garden. Both mornings, breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, with plenty of options on the menu. For a warm, friendly B&B in Old Windsor, I thoroughly recommend Manor Cottage.

The hosts made us feel like part of the family, and nothing was too much trouble. Superb location and the best B&B we've stayed at.
