Windsor Lodge

Our booking was cancelled five days before the stay. The host messaged to ask why we were visiting, and I explained that my fiancée and I were meeting another couple for dinner and drinks in Windsor. He said that was fine, though neighbours had complained about noise over the previous two weekends. I told him we’re in our mid 30s and wouldn’t be acting like teenagers after a night out. Five hours later, after speaking to his partner, he cancelled us. I contacted ebookers, who said the host had claimed we asked to hold a party. That was completely fabricated and meant spending a lot of time on the phone with ebookers sorting it out. No thanks to this lodge. If you book here, be wary they may cancel at the last minute.
