We felt right at home, with all the comforts and then some. The location was a bonus too, especially with The White Horse just a five-minute walk away. It’s a little spot of culinary heaven with outstanding ales. Thanks for such a memorable stay. With all sincerity, Austin

The owners were so pleasant and helpful, and there’s plenty of parking. Our room was clean, warm and really comfortable, with a lovely countryside view. The bed was to die for. It’s a lovely, cosy, fresh-looking building. Breakfast is continental, though you can request a hot one for an extra charge. Would thoroughly recommend.

I forgot all my chargers plugged in when I left on Friday. The owner kindly sent them back, and they were with me by Monday. Such a kind gesture. I was there for three nights on a work trip to Bristol. It was easy to get to and my room was very clean. Breakfast is help yourself from the fridge, with toast, cereals and yoghurts, which suited me perfectly.

It was adequate, but no more than that. I was there for work and booked through the corporate travel site, so I was glad it wasn't coming out of my own pocket. The room was cold, though it was May. The car park was very small, and the place is right beside an extremely busy main road. The walls are thin and it gets noisy. Breakfast is help-yourself cereal and toast. It was clean enough, but I wouldn't recommend staying more than one night, especially if you're paying yourself.
