We came as a family and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were roomy and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They helped make the visit memorable. Dinner was delicious, especially the steak with frites, and the included breakfast was truly tasty too. This beautiful hotel has what you need for a lovely weekend with your partner or family. We’ll definitely come back.

We stayed with our two young children before a day out in Oxford. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, three courses at a very reasonable price, and breakfast the next morning was great too. Our room was smart, modern and well equipped, with a selection of teas and Nespresso. Everyone working there was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We’ll make a point of coming back.

We stayed for two nights, from 24th to 26th May 2026, and the room was great. The service was excellent the whole time. For us, the location worked perfectly, within 20 minutes of Blenheim Palace and the Pear Tree Park and Ride into Oxford. We’d certainly stay here again when visiting the area. Michael & Marilyn

The room was lovely and spacious, with a huge bathroom, and the service was exceptional throughout. My wife and I have just stayed here and were blown away. The pub has such a charming feel, with tasteful decor, open fires and candles. The food was fantastic and really good value too. We had a brilliant time, and we'll definitely be back. Five stars hardly covers it.

The staff waiting on us were great, apart from one man whose look of contempt made him seem better suited to a Parisian bistro. We visited for Sunday lunch with three people having roasts while I just had a starter. Nothing on the menu appealed to me, though that's just personal preference. The place was smart, well furnished and clearly popular, with a full house. The food was good except for the bread sauce we asked for, which was watery and tasteless. It was also disappointing to pay over £25 for a roast and then be asked for another £6 for cauliflower cheese.
