The pool was closed, which was a real shame, but we had a great stay. The room was clean, cozy and already warm when we arrived, and the hotel felt lovely and warm too, which matters at this time of year. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were lovely, especially Dali at the bar. He was very friendly and attentive despite being busy and seeming like he could have used some help. His professionalism and manners are exactly what you’d want in a place like this. He should definitely be promoted to manager.

We had a wonderful spa day with tea for two. The treatments and facilities were excellent and so relaxing, and the service was great. Afterward, we shared coffee, and both the food and coffee were delicious. The restaurant staff were polite and attentive, checking in often. They kindly made a vegetarian sandwich stand for me and a meat option for my wife, which we really appreciated. Our server was lovely, and both managers came over to see how we were doing. Fantastic service all the way through, highly recommend!

At £130 including bed and breakfast, we thought the hotel was good value. We were taking our daughter to Lapland Ascot, about 15 minutes away, and the location also worked well for the drive home. The room was clean and tidy, but the pillows were poor and went completely flat. The restaurant was pleasant, though the food seemed more like pub grub than restaurant dining. None of the EV chargers worked. There’s a nice pool and gym on-site, but the pool felt a bit too cool for the kids. A decent-value stopover for a Lapland visit.

The staff made the visit for me. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, especially the restaurant team. The receptionist and spa staff were helpful and greeted me with smiles. They were the cherry on top. My son bought me this spa treatment for my birthday more than a year ago, and I really enjoyed my time there. The spa area, showers and toilets definitely need renovating. Still, I’m giving it five stars despite the need for a proper renovation, and the hotel sits on beautiful land filled with gorgeous trees.
