Premier Inn Winnersh

Parking was free, check-in through the machine was easy, and the room was clean and very comfortable. There was no staff member available to check us in at first. The shower pressure was great, the taps didn't have a flow limiter, and the air con worked well. Up to breakfast, it seemed like an excellent example of a Premier Inn. Breakfast was a letdown. There was no buffet, and it took quite a while for staff to take our order, though they were pleasant. I've never known a Premier Inn not to have a buffet, even the hubs have a small one. The menu says breakfast is unlimited, but they take it away after you order, which makes it unlikely people will ask for more. Our food did arrive in good time, even with only one person in the kitchen. I'm guessing they do it this way to cut waste. But most weekday guests will be business customers in a hurry, so I do begrudge the lack of self-service. That's what I've come to expect from a Premier Inn, especially since check-in is largely self-service too.

The rooms are quiet and clean, and the staff are welcoming and fun to talk to. This is one of the best Premier Inns. I've stayed here a few times now, love it, and will keep coming back.

A great overnight bed and breakfast, with Nirvana Spa just a five-minute drive away. The staff were lovely, the bed was comfortable, the night was quiet, and breakfast was good.

The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. Nothing was a problem during our four-night stay. We only had dinner at Bar & Block one evening because the menu was limited, but breakfast was good, and it was a bonus that kids eat breakfast free. The location worked well for visiting Lapland UK in Ascot, about a 20-minute drive away. The train station was within walking distance, and the ride into London to Waterloo took 1 hour 20 minutes.
