We came all the way down from Hull, and I wish we had somewhere like this near home. The food was amazing, 10/10 all round. My steak was the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and full of seasoning. The chips alongside it had a crisp outside and a lovely fluffy middle that melted in my mouth. My boyfriend got the burger and said it was the best he’d ever eaten. His patties were moist and full of flavour, and the fries were seasoned really well. I couldn’t fault a thing.

They took great care of us, with lovely food and really good service. The turkey roast was the best I’ve ever had, hands down. There was plenty of veg, and they kept offering more, which was very welcome. They were happy to bring extra Yorkshires too. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was great and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff member who welcomed us was so friendly, showed us around, and explained the room and the area. There was a fire alarm at midnight, though, and when we called the manager, he didn’t know it had gone off. That left me a bit concerned, but otherwise it was a great stay.

We were amazed by the food when we ate here as a family, and it was very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely with our son, taking time to chat with him while he ordered and when he was just talking away like a kid. We’d recommend eating here 1000%.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were newly renovated and super clean. Excellent stay. We’ll stay here again if we’re in the area.
