Bed bugs. I woke at 2 am to find them crawling over the sheets and my suitcase, which I had to throw away. Environmental Health is now looking into the place. The room also had no blinds and the sofa in the kitchen area was broken. Please read the reviews before spending your money. They promised me a refund several times, but it never came, so I had to do a credit card chargeback. They also have the cheek to demand a £50 cash damage deposit, despite the disgusting rooms and broken furniture.

My friend booked a room and was left outside late in the evening waiting for the key. The manager or staff member never turned up to let him in. He kept trying to contact them, with no reply, and eventually the manager blocked him from all correspondence. My friend cancelled the booking but wasn't refunded. In my opinion, that's theft and a scam. A warning to anyone thinking of booking here.

For £60 a night, the apartment itself was quite good, clean and tidy, and close to town. Getting there was less appealing: the entrance door looked like one to a boarded-up building, and the stairs carpet was filthy. We paid a cash deposit and did get it back. The owner could use some DIY skills, as I had to fix the bedroom blinds myself using missing parts that were stuffed in a drawer. With single-glazed windows, you hear the buses and trams outside, and the nightclub next door runs from 11 pm into the early hours. Definitely not for light sleepers.

The room was a complete disgrace. We got back before 11 pm after a concert and found a sheet covering a large bloodstain on the bed, along with several other stains I don't want to speculate about. My son had booked us a room, and we hadn't had time to inspect it earlier. No one was available to speak to because the shop attached to the hotel had closed. The room notice gave a phone number, but it went to voicemail each time, with no way to leave a message. We spent the night on the sofas. My son ended up on the floor because the cushions were uncomfortable, and I didn't sleep, just watched the clock until the shop was supposed to open at 8 am. I'm still here, with no shop open and nobody on site to talk to. I want management to see the state of the room and will be making a full complaint. There are stains on the furniture and walls too. Photos will be attached. I wouldn't give this place one star, but there isn't a zero option.
