The Milking Parlour

We really liked the location just outside Wells, and our stay was very enjoyable. Sarah was especially kind to our dogs, cooking a couple of extra sausages for them at breakfast, which we really appreciated. The cooked breakfasts were wonderful, among the best I've had anywhere. Our room was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It's very dog-friendly. One thing to bear in mind: the top-floor rooms may be difficult to reach with older dogs that struggle on stairs, as the second flight is narrow and steep.

Cosy rooms, a comfortable bed, and lovely surroundings with a quaint feel. It's dog-friendly and well placed for exploring the local area. I'll definitely be back.

The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was freshly cooked with local produce and very tasty. It's a great B&B in a fantastic old house, with a lovely garden looking out over the countryside. The bedroom was large and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend it.

Sarah, the owner, was on hand to welcome us and introduce herself, and she was happy to suggest places of interest. The staff were extremely hospitable. Our loft room was lovely and spacious, with a kettle, a fridge, and plenty of teas, coffee, and hot chocolate to choose from. The decor was beautiful, and the bedding smelled fresh. Breakfast was excellent, especially the scrambled egg and smoked salmon.
