I spent four glorious days here on a writing retreat, and the landscape, coast and walks are stunning. The rooms were beautiful, quiet and comfortable. I’ve never seen a better tray for tea and coffee, with homemade biscuits too, and the bathroom was amazing. The attention to detail was exceptional. Will, Stacey and gorgeous Kingsley the retriever were such wonderful hosts, and the food was superb. I really can’t recommend them or their lovely hostelry highly enough. 10 out of 5 💛 Do go!

We had an incredible meal at Miss Fea’s bistro last night. Everything was fresh and made with quality ingredients. The scallops to start and monkfish for the main were both lovely, and we finished with an espresso martini. Service was excellent, and the staff were really friendly and chatty. An exceptional experience 😄

The service was even better than the wonderful food. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and both the steak and monkfish were excellent. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Mortehoe.

The open fire made the Bistro feel so welcoming when we visited on Friday evening. We both had fillet steak, cooked perfectly, and the desserts were amazing. Well done to the front-of-house staff. We’d definitely return and recommend it.

I had the scallops followed by ramen, with a very smooth Romanian Pinot Noir alongside. We ate here last weekend with a whole bunch of old friends. The food was really tasty, the service was great, and it’s well worth a visit.
