The owners were kind, thoughtful, and really helpful, and the fresh pizzas they make on Friday evening were fantastic and very cheap. We spent a long, sunny weekend here and can't recommend the site highly enough. It's a large, clean, well-kept place surrounded by rolling countryside. The big canvas tents were comfortable, with four large soft beds in each. Each one also had its own shed with a barbecue, gas ring, crockery, glasses, and cutlery, plus a fire pit with plenty of wood and coal. One person in our group got married in the woods on Saturday afternoon, and it was truly fabulous. The showers and toilets were clean and tidy, and there are electrical sockets in the ladies' toilet block if you need them. There's also a covered area with children's entertainment, fridges, and more sockets. It costs a bit more than an average campsite, but it's worth every penny.

A quiet, lovely glamping site for families, with great facilities. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The covered veranda was a lovely spot for breakfast, and we spent the evenings under the stars around the fire pit. The owners, Wendy and Matt, were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had two lovely nights at this beautiful site. The tents are fantastic, and the beds are cosy and comfortable. The shed was a great idea, stocked with everything for cooking on the barbecue or using the fire pit, including all the utensils and crockery you'd need. I'd definitely recommend it, particularly for young children, as there's so much for them to do.

We've visited C&C twice now, and both times were fantastic. Our group of five families has 14 children aged seven and under, and these have been some of our most relaxing breaks as parents. The site is one field with 10 safari tents and a small wooded area. It's lovely seeing the kids play from morning to night without getting bored or reaching for electronic devices, while we adults catch up and relax and can still keep an eye on them. The facilities are brilliant, clean, and modern, and having hot showers all the time is a real winner. There's plenty of equipment for cooking, and the campsite makes fresh pizzas in its own trailer oven on Friday nights. They're some of the tastiest we've had. If you're unsure about booking C&C, don't give it a second thought. It's truly wonderful!

The only downside for us was the weather, but that's the UK for you and can't be helped. The fire pit and supplied wood kept us warm while we sat around it. We stayed at Canvas and Clover for two nights in August 2020, with family and friends, and found it really relaxing. The safari tents are roomy and amazing, the beds are comfortable, and surprisingly the tent stayed warm at night despite having no electricity, gale-force winds, and rain. The attention to detail is fabulous. The shed was stocked with a BBQ and hob, and there was excellent cutlery, glassware, and plates. We hope to go again next year and would recommend it to everyone.
