Old Street B&B

Our host was very welcoming, and the room was kept tidy with fresh tea, coffee, and water every day. My daughter and I stayed at Old Street B & B for a week. We had a good-sized room, two comfortable beds, an en suite, warm bedding, and plenty of hot water. There’s a quiet communal sitting room downstairs and a pretty courtyard with a table and chairs. The full English breakfast was included and really good. After the first morning, I switched to a perfectly cooked omelette. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs within easy reach in Upton. Ask the owner for his card, he’s arranged discounts at several local restaurants. I’d recommend the B & B.

Darrel was a brilliant host, really helpful and knowledgeable about the town and area. The room was cosy and comfortable, with great facilities and good WiFi, and breakfast was great too. We had a really pleasant stay. You’d be missing out if you didn’t stay here, highly recommend.

Darrell was a great host, full of helpful information about Upton and the surrounding area, and had lots of good suggestions for places to eat. We stayed one night on Saturday 12th June and wished we could have stayed longer. The B&B is stylish and spotlessly clean, and breakfast the next morning was marvellous. We were sorry to leave. Thankyou Darrell and Rae for a lovely stay.

Upton is a lovely town and a handy base for seeing the surrounding area. Darrell also pointed us to some excellent places to eat. We stayed three nights at his B&B and felt very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it.
