Seashells

We had a great base for exploring the area, with Brighton only about 35 minutes away for a day out. Worthing itself is lovely, and the walk along the promenade to the centre takes around 20 minutes. The beach is just across the road, in a pleasant spot. The house was roomy and had what we needed, plus milk and biscuits waiting for us. A few extra towels and access to a vacuum would have helped, especially since the washer-dryer takes ages and it rained for most of our stay. I’d recommend it, and hope for better weather next time.

The outside space catches plenty of sun, and the neighbours were very friendly. We also enjoyed the walks along the seafront, with a lovely beach café about 15 minutes away on foot. We spent two comfortable weeks at Pebble House. It was spotless when we arrived, and Emma, the housekeeper, quickly sorted out two small problems.

A sweet little cottage, near the town and just a short step from the beach. It’s dog friendly, and there’s a small space out back too.

For morning drone flying and a walk, the spot further down is great. There’s a no-fly zone by the roundabout, so keep that in mind. Summer sunsets here are legendary.
