I’ve stayed at the Middlethorpe Apartment twice in the last three months, and it’s been great value for money. It’s a quiet residential street, with parking and its own private outdoor space, and makes a perfect base for exploring York and Yorkshire. Jo and Andy are excellent hosts. The apartment is clean and well furnished, with a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. They leave tea, coffee and some cookies to get you started. The sitting and dining rooms are nicely furnished, and the TV has all the coverage you could want.

The bungalow has a big bathroom, a sitting room, dining room and conservatory where you can relax. There’s off street parking, and a bus stop at the end of the Rd for getting into York City centre. It’s clean, tidy and modern, with a comfy bed. The kitchen has a coffee maker, tea, coffee, cookies and lots of extras. Jo and Andy are lovely hosts. This was our second stay, and everything about it was 100%. We’ll be back next year.

Perfectly placed for York city centre and the surrounding areas, and the hosts were great. The apartment was immaculately clean and felt like a real home from home. I’d recommend it for a great stay, and we’ll definitely be back.

We found the apartment by chance after deciding at the last minute to come to York. Most of the places we’d checked before were full, so what a find! We wouldn’t want to change a thing. The couple who own it are great, and we’ll definitely return many times. It was meant to be.

A lovely place, and the owner was really nice. It’s about a 2 mile walk into the city. I’d highly recommend staying here.
