The Staymor In The City

We’ve already booked another visit for November. The Staymor is brilliant, and I can’t recommend it highly enough if you’re coming to York. We arrived by train, and it was a 15-minute walk; York centre was also just 15 minutes on foot. We got a warm welcome and were shown to our rooms. They were cleaned daily and were warm and cosy, with lovely warm beds. Breakfast was beautiful, and when two of our party mentioned they were on slimming world, they made us fresh fruit salad each morning. We’re looking forward to going back.

The owners have added plenty of personal touches to this quaint, well laid-out hotel. Our room was bright, clean, comfortable, and just right for a short stay. I wasn’t sure about the breakfast arrangement at first, but it was really good. I’d love the recipe for the Breakfast Bircher, please! The hotel is conveniently placed within walking distance of the city center. If you’re coming by car, you’ll need to arrange parking. I’d happily stay again.

The healthy breakfast was the highlight. It had a bit of everything, was brought right to our bed, and left us feeling rejuvenated. Everything was organic, and there was tea and coffee in the room too. The location was excellent and there was parking. Our room was stylish, clean, and comfortable. Awesome, highly recommend this hotel!

We came to York for a one-night city break, and the hotel suited us perfectly. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a real treat, made with locally sourced produce and brought to our room. We’re already looking forward to coming back, and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
