Hotel Hilltop Bakuriani

The food at lunch and dinner was very poor, and we needed to find something else to eat. Breakfast was quite good, though we had to ask for milk for the children. On our last morning, they wouldn't give me milk when I asked at 11, as breakfast was ending. Nobody cleaned our room or collected the garbage for three days, until we asked. The service overall wasn't very good.

The room had a good view in the snow, especially at night, and the hotel is near the park and main road. The man at reception was helpful, and they gave us breakfast to take away when we were in a hurry. Thank God we stayed only one night, though. I wouldn't stay longer or recommend it at that exaggerated price. The triple room was tiny, the beds were uncomfortable, and the mattress was old. The bathroom was really bad: hot water took five minutes to come through, and there was no hand sprayer or Shattaf. The paint was peeling and the old furniture needs refurbishing. There's no proper parking area, just spaces in front of the hotel that felt risky. A football team or another sports group had booked the hotel, and the kids were extremely noisy, knocking on doors and running off, despite the security cameras. I don't recommend this hotel at all. Look for something better.

Bili at reception speaks perfect English and helped us a lot with recommendations, transport, and whatever else we needed. He really added to our stay at Hilltop. We've been here for three nights and so far everything has been great. Breakfast could be better, maybe with some ham, but the price is good for what you get. Our stay at Hilltop has been very nice. There was nothing in the room: no toothpaste, shampoo, cups, or anything in the fridge. The balcony door was broken and wouldn't close. I paid 100 GEL for this.
